Ten minutes of setup stands between you and the largest Canada-only darknet market. Here is the whole path, in order, without the fluff.
1Install the Tor Browser
Go to torproject.org and download the Tor Browser for your system — Windows, macOS, Linux or Android. Install it, open it, press Connect. The first connection takes about half a minute while it builds circuits. Only ever download Tor from torproject.org; a tampered Tor Browser defeats everything that follows.
2Open the official WeTheNorth link
With Tor connected, paste the market's onion address into the Tor Browser:

The mirrors wtnmarket.net and wtnmarket.store open in a normal browser for browsing. Do your actual ordering over Tor.
3Register an account — properly
Username, strong unique passphrase, done: WeTheNorth doesn't ask for an email. Before anything else, go to settings and:
- turn on two-factor authentication
- save your PGP key if you have one
- write your mnemonic on paper and store it offline
4Fund your wallet
Generate a BTC or XMR deposit address and send a small test amount first. Wait for full confirmation — the market is explicit that you should not create a second transaction or a new address before the first deposit confirms. Prices are in CAD; the wallet shows the conversion. Once the test lands, fund what you need for an order or two, not for the whole year.
5Order like a veteran
Pick a vendor by feedback score and order count, not lowest price. Add to cart, check out, and let escrow hold the payment. Vendors ship domestically — Canada Post letters and parcels typically arrive within days. Confirm delivery in the market to release the funds, then leave honest feedback. If a package never arrives, open a dispute before the timer expires; moderators side with evidence.
6Lock the door behind you
Bookmark the onion address in Tor Browser (and this directory in your normal browser). Every future visit goes through your bookmarks — never through links from Reddit, Telegram, or anyone's DMs. That single habit, plus 2FA, is the difference between a boring, successful market life and a phishing story.
