WeTheNorth Links 🔗

All WeTheNorth links, explained

Six official addresses make up the complete WeTheNorth ecosystem — one onion service, three clearnet mirrors and two forum domains. Here is what each one is, what it is for, and when to reach for it.

1. The onion address — the market's real front door

What it is: WeTheNorth Market as a Tor v3 onion service. Use it for: everything that matters — registering, logging in, depositing, ordering, withdrawing. Traffic to an onion service is encrypted and anonymized by the Tor network itself; your IP never reaches the market. Requirements: the Tor Browser, which you can only trust if you download it from torproject.org.

2–4. The clearnet mirrors — wtnmarket.net, wtnmarket.ru, wtnmarket.store

MirrorBest forPrivacy note
wtnmarket.netEveryday browsing of listings and vendor pagesISP sees the domain; use Tor for logins
wtnmarket.ruFallback when .net is slow or under attackSame account, same wallet
wtnmarket.storeAlternate route during maintenance windowsSame market, mirrored

All three mirrors serve the same database — your account, balance, orders and messages are identical regardless of which you open. They exist so a DDoS attack or infrastructure hiccup on one domain can't take the market offline for Canadians. The market's own recommendation is unchanged: browse where convenient, but place your orders over Tor.

5–6. The forum domains — wtnforum.net and wtnforum.ru

The WeTheNorth community forum is where Canadian users review vendors, argue about products, post market news and — most importantly for this directory — publish mirror announcements. When a market link misbehaves, the forum is the fastest source of truth about whether it is maintenance, an attack, or a new address. Two domains, one forum: wtnforum.net and wtnforum.ru.

Links that are NOT WeTheNorth

Any address not on this page that claims to be "WeTheNorth" — a .to or .cc clone, a look-alike with a doubled letter, a "portal" that asks you to log in — is at best a middleman and at worst a phishing page. The market keeps its link surface deliberately small: one onion, three mirrors, two forum domains. If you are asked for your WeTheNorth passphrase anywhere else, you are being phished.
